Each year on the first Friday in February (which is American Heart Month), we celebrate National Wear Red Day. On National Wear Red Day, the nation “goes red” to help raise awareness of cardiovascular disease, which is the No. 1 killer of women. From coast to coast, buildings and landmarks to social and broadcast media, millions join together and go red to raise awareness in an effort to save more lives.
