Saw one of the OG’s 🎣 do this years ago and thought how cool and caring it was when we catch a big hog who puts up a helluva fight - to get them back into the water gently and move them back and forth so oxygen gets back into their lungs. They have a lot of lactic acid build up and they’re in shock. Get them back in gently, help them reacclimate and when they’re ready, they’ll piece out and swim off 🤣✌🏾🐟 I think I saw @bill_dance do it on TV years ago and that effort and gesture always stuck with me.
