When design meets function. Inspired by a vintage 1970s Canadian Military Bomber, our iconic grab strap is built to last. Initially designed as a carrying feature, it has also proven useful in emergencies. In 2003, medivac nurse Marilyn Hofman fell through the ice in Churchill, Manitoba, and was pulled to safety thanks to the grab strap on her Snow Mantra parka.
Inspired by the Snow Mantra, the Peace Keeper Parka was the trusted gear of the Canadian Rangers – the Canadian Armed Forces’ eyes and ears in the North. Designed to withstand the harshest conditions, this parka symbolizes the strength required for those who protect and serve in some of the most remote regions of the world.
Often called the warmest coat on Earth, this is the Snow Mantra. 247 pieces meticulously crafted by 45 people over 8.5 hours, this parka is everything we stand for. Designed with purpose, crafted with care, unparallelled protection.
With every stitch, we honour the original parka makers. Their traditions, resilience, and craftsmanship inspire us and teach us how we are part of nature and nature is part of us.
