Their "Heartware Stories" series showcases the creative ways employees are making a difference. People like Mark Miller, assistant manager at Ace Hardware in Warrior, AL.
For many, the holidays are a time of joy and family gatherings. But, for children in hospitals, it can be a bleak time. Mark brought holiday cheer to kids at @ChildrensofAL by organizing a Christmas tree festival. With help from 30 Ace stores and the Junior League of Alabama, they provided 340 artificial trees for the children to decorate. The event transformed the hospital into a winter wonderland, offering the kids a magical environment.
