Celebrating the 200th anniversary of Blair House, The Presidential Guest House. Featuring fresh interiors by @markdsikes . Tiffany &Co generously donated a complete banquet dinner service in the iconic ‘Tiffany Jardin’ pattern with a custom monogram. On display, was the @tiffanyandco seed pearl suite, purchased by Abraham Lincoln in New York for his wife to wear to his first inauguration. On loan from the library of congress its condition was impeccable. It is as stunning today as it was 200 years ago. A testament to @tiffanyandco timeless design and craftsmanship (the pearls are strong with horsehair!!) In Speaking of American ingenuity this @carolinaherrera gown I wore to the White House is on modaoperandi (peach look is custom @attersee 🍑)
