#ripsandrabland There was no other way to appropriately start this post other than that. First off, to everyone who tried to convince me that the criminal case cannot be reopened, you’re wrong. The settlement received in the civil suit has no bearing on the criminal case. Furthermore, there is no statue of limitations on murder!

Also, I did my due diligence of reaching out to the DA’s office and the family’s attorney. I must say the conversation with the DA’s office was informative and not as intense as I expected. I’m currently awaiting a return phone call from her family’s attorney. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
Just know this, it’s going to take this current social media storm in order for them to reconsider opening this case.
